Annual Inspections - Mobile Crane
Annual Inspections cover critical components such as the boom, jib, outriggers, sheaves, wire rope, hydraulic systems, brakes, electrical controls, load indicators, and safety devices. We check for wear, cracks, misalignments, and other signs of damage, while also verifying that all safety features and load charts are in place. The inspection helps identify issues before they become hazards, keeping operators, crews, and worksites safe while extending the life of the equipment.
Annual Inspections - Tower Cranes
Tower crane annual inspections are a comprehensive check of the entire crane to make sure it meets OSHA, ANSI, and manufacturer safety standards. Inspectors carefully examine the structural components, such as the mast, jib, slewing ring, and counterweights, for signs of wear, damage, or misalignment. Mechanical and electrical systems—including hoist motors, brakes, wire ropes, limit switches, and safety devices—are tested to ensure they are functioning properly. Annual Inspection - Articulating Boom
Articulating boom crane annual inspections are a detailed, top-to-bottom review that ensures the crane is safe, reliable, and compliant with OSHA and manufacturer standards. The process includes checking the boom sections, base, and outriggers for cracks or wear; examining hydraulic cylinders, hoses, and fittings for leaks; and inspecting pins, bushings, and wire ropes for proper condition. Safety devices, limit switches, and emergency controls are tested, while the crane is run through its full range of motion to confirm smooth and accurate operation. This inspection helps catch potential issues early, reduces downtime, and keeps both operators and worksites safe.
